The Organic Growth Strategist role is a full-time remote role open to candidates in IL, MI, MN, NC, FL, TX, CO, ID or RI. Salary range: $75,000–$85,000, plus strong benefits including 20 PTO days, wellness stipends, 401k match, and a professional development budget. Eligible for individual and team bonuses.

As an Organic Growth Strategist, you will…

Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant across organic growth channels—including SEO, AEO, Organic Social, Digital PR, and more.

You’ll craft and prioritize strategic deliverables that align with client goals, including SEO & AEO content roadmaps, and communicate performance insights directly to clients. You’ll lead account planning, meeting leadership, and relationship management—ensuring client goals remain central to execution.

You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with Ten Speed’s internal teams to align service delivery with client objectives, and use dashboards to report on business impact, strategic insights, and measurable progress (e.g., MQLs, revenue, organic pipeline).

Location, Salary & Benefits

  • Location: Remote (USA only — must reside in IL, MI, MN, NC, FL, TX, CO, ID or RI)
  • Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 USD, depending on experience
  • Work Schedule: Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlapping Central Time
  • PTO: 20 vacation days + 7 personal/sick days + 9 holidays + 1 volunteer day

What You'll Do

  • Own strategic relationships - Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, leading communication, strategic planning, and meeting leadership to keep client goals front and center.
  • Build goal-driven growth strategies - Create and maintain SEO & AEO content roadmaps tailored to each client’s unique goals and priorities across all stages of their growth journey.
  • Drive retention and expansion - Monitor account health, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure strategic alignment to reduce churn, surface upsell opportunities, and drive account growth.
  • Deliver high-quality, on-time work - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all deliverables meet expectations, align with Ten Speed’s service standards, and are delivered on schedule.
  • Ensure operational excellence -Work with Client Ops and Project Managers to ensure client documentation (e.g., agendas, QBRs, post-call notes) is consistently maintained in ClickUp and Google Drive.
  • Turn data into strategic action - Leverage dashboards managed by our internal analyst to monitor content performance, extract insights, and build clear, impactful reports that align with client goals and demonstrate business impact.
  • Stay ahead of industry change - Maintain a strong understanding of SEO and AEO trends, evolving search behavior, and how Ten Speed’s services adapt to meet client needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • You have 7+ years of experience in content marketing roles
  • You have experience building content strategy and communicating in formal presentations
  • You have strong expertise in SEO and AEO, and bring a working knowledge of adjacent organic channels like Organic Social and Digital PR to ensure your strategies align across the full organic growth mix.
  • You have technical SEO and AEO skills, or are highly familiar with website architecture, structured data, crawlability, indexing, and user experience best practices that impact organic visibility across traditional and AI-enabled search engines
  • You have direct experience outlining and managing website migrations, including SEO/URL structure planning, redirect mapping, and coordinating with developers to preserve and improve organic performance
  • You enjoy interacting with clients and working with different types of companies/industries
  • Demonstrate the ability to context switch effectively in a remote work environment, managing multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining focus on client goals and strategic outcomes
  • You have familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
  • You have experience working in/with B2B, SaaS, or technology companies
  • You have experience working with AI tools for content strategy
  • You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
  • You are process-oriented and have strong attention to detail

Bonus Points For

  • Agency experience in a client-facing strategist role
  • In-house experience at a SaaS or PLG company
  • Proficiency with Clearscope or similar content optimization tools
  • Experience with ClickUp or other project management platforms
